What Age Did You Ditch The Highchair?
I got out the booster seat today, hooked it to the kitchen chair and she ate two meals in it! I think I'm going to get rid of the highchair. I'm sick of looking at it and it takes up part of the wall. My only problem is the mess on the rug under the chair, but I guess I could get one of those little mats. When did you get rid of yours?

I got rid of it when he was around 14 months or so.

We never had a real highchair...we always had the one that attaches to a regular chair. I removed the tray and starting putting it up to the table at about 20 months. DD doesn't really get too much on the carpet except when we have rice...then it's a mess

DS is almost 2 now and I am keeping him in the high chair for as long as possible! He will never sit still for a meal otherwise - the high chair is the last place I can keep him confined!

Ohh she's confined! It has straps to buckle her in. Plus it has a tray, but I didn't use that part.

At about 18 months, i ditched the high chair tray and just pushed the high chair up to the table. I would say I did a booster a little before 2 years old.

Once Erin started using it, Ry was out! I guess he was around 2 or so and started to eat at his little table or at our table.

we stopped around 22 months. We could have done it sooner we just didn't.

I am thinking about it too because John is now sitting on a regualr chair for his meals. He just decided to start like a week ago. But, he squirms and gets off way too much during the meal so we are going to bring in our booster seat.

Great deal on the booster chair!! We still use the high chair and it does take up soooo much room!!!!

at about 18 mths...she refused to sit in it. weve used a booster ever since.
