When did you ditch the highchair?
Just curious when others have gone to a booster seat. He doesn't love being in his highchair very long and I think he'd get a kick out of sitting at the table. Not sure we're ready yet though at 15 months...

I still use it occasionally when he has something messy and will sit and he is 18 months.

Marron is 19 months old and still sits in it for every meal! Even in restaurants, she gets a highchair.

Thanks everyone! The more I think about it the more I think he needs to stay in it for now. I couldn't turn my back on him if he weren't strapped in - I know he'd try to get down by himself!

Same here, but DD will sit in her booster seat everywhere else to eat-restaurants, other people's homes-she still gets strapped in though.
HOnestly, at 18 months she'd be in it already all the time, but I don't have an eat in kitchen and there's no way she's eating on my dining room chairs yet.

DD is 17 mths and we are starting to get away from it - she hates sitting in there and its not worth the battle..weve been using the safety first booster - it has straps so she still gets secured in.

2 years and 3 months and he still uses it.
I love it! He would sit in a booster or anything else but it's just more convinient

Same here. Actually, he was a little over 2 when we had to give it to his sister to use, so he moved to a booster seat at the table.

DS is 16 Months and I need to get a booster seat for him (one with straps) He hates his highchair and I can wait to get rid of it) takes up too much room

DD is 2 years 5 months and we just ditched it when we are home. When we go to restaurants she still gets one b/c she is a squirmer and she doesn't stay put in a booster.

At about 15 months I bought a Stokke Tripp Trapp (type) chair. I soooooooooo prefer it to the high chair. Much easier to clean!

Nate is 2.5 and we still use it. If he's not restrained when he's eating, he runs around. I also use it when he's coloring or using markers, so he's confined.
