went to Romney rally today, got some decent pics.
I thought it was a pretty cool opportunity to get this close and hear what he had to say. It was a really good day, glad I went.

WOW...I feel like I just played "One of these things is not like the other" looking at those pictures!
There is defintely a lack of diversity in the crowd Another reason why I'm happy to be a democrat!

I'm confused by this. I don't get why a lack of diversity in the crowd would make you proud to be a democrat? So because Obama attracts more "diversity" it automatically makes him the better choice to RUN our country? We all CHOOSE who we support. In fact, some people will vote for Obama simply b/c he is black, not because he is the right man for the job. Seems pretty PREJUDICE to me to choose TO vote for someone based on skin color (or their supporters' skin color) AS WELL AS to NOT vote for someone based on skin color (or their supporters' skin color).
With beliefs such as this, we will NEVER get the right man in office. That same belief is what got Obama into the office to begin with, NOT his credentials to RUN our country. Which clearly was illustrated in this past debate by far.
Funny, I didn't even NOTICE the skin color of ANYONE in the background. Didn't even cross my mind to look at that. Boy I am already scared for this upcoming election if this is the mentality of the majority of voters.

Great pictures...I don't know what lack of diversity has to do with someone showing what good pictures they take

Lol, well behind the podium was the VIP section where people actually paid to sit there. The rest of us poor folks including a ton of black people btw, were in the general crowd. And, isn't Alan West black?? A black republican, what a concept.

this is such a silly comment to me.. i don't know the OP is just sharing pics that she took maybe for the people on here that support this candidate. to share something she was excited about. why would you even notice that?
if it was an Obama pic and there were diverse races and people in the background and someone said the opposite like-there are too many ethnicities in the background i am SO glad i am a republican...that would be just as wrong to me. and it makes no sense either. are you saying that ALL republicans are white or have no diversity?
OP nice pictures! glad you had fun!

You took the words right out of my mouth.... Not to mention, had there Obama rally pics with "not much diversity" I would have been crucified for even bringing it up

Well said!! It is so sad that people have to STILL use the black/white issue. Get over it already, let's all work together for the benefit of all Americans, no matter your race!

NO! I'm proud to be a Democrat because it's the party for the PEOPLE ..all the people- not just the rich, white males! That's why! And my vote goes to President Barack Obama because he is the right man for our country- which is made up of many more skin colors than you see behind Romney in that picture. And frankly, you SHOULD notice the lack of diversity in those pictures because it isnt right to only have white people sitting behind you, cheering you on. That's why I'M scared for this election.

Great pics.
Glad you had fun. It's always exciting to support who you believe in.
I do notice a lack of diversity. I really do think diversity is important. America is a melting pot. It always has been. I think it's representative of who we are as a nation.

Thank you...I don't think anyone could have written this better.....since when does diversity=skin color..we are diverse in many different ways...and since when do Republicans only represent rich white men? (another comment somewhere on this thread)...again another dare I say, stupid uneducated statement. I urge people to educate themselves. There are many "diverse" republicans...I know several immigrants that come from a communist background..they believe in the "Republican" philosophy of smaller government..because they came from a place were the government controlled everything...wouldn't that be considered a diverse group? Seriously think before you speak..there are many faces to both political parties.

Do you really think the debate illustrated who has the credentials to run our country? Spit in my face tell me it's raining debates? I don't think they are an indicator of anything. They are politicians. Salesmen.
eta: And I think voting for the winner of the dog and pony show they call debates is what is the scariest. Just ask President Dukakis and President Mondale how their first great debates went.
