Went to All American last night
My Dh is not from LI, so he never had it...but has heard about it
And I haven't been there in 15 years or so!
Well, we were both very disappointed 
Is the food not as good as it used to be, or did I just build it up in my mind?
Anyone been there recently?

Everyone i know who loves that place is from massapequa. I on the other hand am not and i didnt find it to be that great.. I do love the milk shakes though.
EVeryone at my job loves it, work right by it and they think im nuts for not being nutty about it.

I'm from Massapequa and I don't like All American at all, waaaay too greasy for me.
I graduated with the kid who owned it (well the family did) I believe he took over the buisness.

I am from Massapequa just a few blocks away and I not only HATE the food, but cringe at the traffic jams and madness it causes on a daily basis!!

I grew up three blocks away, too!
I like the fries. I've never eaten a hamburger from there and I haven't eaten a burger in 20 years so I can't comment on that.
I took DH there last year, b/c he isn't from the US and he said it tasted like a mcdonalds burger. He did like the fries, but to be honest fries in the US arent all that great.
