I was in my senior year of college when I got the call that my father had a seizure. They brought him in and could not find any reason why he had a seizure. They did however find a 95% blocked corotid artery.
I thank God every day for that seizure. It could have been so much worse!!
Just be there for her like I'm sure you always are!!!!

Many prayers for your mom. My Dad survived a massive stroke 9 years ago and unfortunately, I know about the procedure.
Many thought and prayers are with your family.

THIS IS NOT KARMA!!!
It is just a coincidence, a very sad and upsetting one- this is why people always say "when it rains, it pours" but then it gets better!! She WILL get better and be OK! Just have HOPE and think positive!!!!
Also, this might sound CRAZY but take some red ribbon (christmas ribbon, satin ribbon, anything) and put it in your pocket or carry it in your purse- just TRUST ME.

I do not know what to say. I have not even called DH yet, because I know he will come running home, and I will be more of a mess. You, ALL of you, are what I need right now, and I cannot thank you all enough, from the very bottom of my heart for being there for me.
Under this tough girl, is a very weak little kid. I am not good at handling news like this. I found my grandmother dead at the age of 12, from a stroke, and since then, if my parents dont answer the phone, I am on a mission to find out if everything is OK. I honestly dont know what I would do without my mother and father.
And frankly, I am not sure what I would do without all of you. Thank you is really all I can say.
