This isn't karma, because no one deserves this kind of stress. As someone else above said, it's life. And it stinks. Focus on the positives if you can - she didn't have a stroke, they caught it beforehand. Both very good things considering!!!

Just to give you some hope...my Grandfather has also gone through this and at the age of 75, he made it through without a hitch. Wishing you and your Mom well!!!

I'm so very, extremely sorry to hear about your mother.

I am so sorry that you and your family are dealing with this. I am sending lots of good thoughts and wishes for your mom. She is in my prayers.
At the end of the day...whatever may or may not have happened...no one has something like this coming to them and in no way do you or anyone else deserve this. Please know that you have people you can turn to here...no matter what. At the end of the day...people here are amazing and will stand by your side - even hold you up if need be.
