I think it is a really nice idea, hopefully, DH told his dad that....
If you are uncomfortable, you did the right thing by telling them. This would not bother me, though.

I have to be honest and this wouldnt bother me in the slightest...but that is just me ...if it makes you feel uncomfortable at all then you have every right to express your feelings

I don't blame you for feeling the way you do, but even as a native NYC girl, out of the things I am overly paranoid about, this is not it.
Doesn't mean you are wrong though. This is your child and your comfort level is what matters.
ditto. I personally wouldn't mind it but its' your child and you have to make decisions that you and your dh are comfortable with. Don't worry about what everyone else thinks. It's your child.
