Weekends and waking earlier?!

I don't understand. My 4 yr old can sleep till about 8:30 Monday thru Friday and for some reason the last few weekends he gets up at 6:30AM

I don't get it. We don't do anything different. Being that it's summer he's been up later than usual anyway on some days if we have something, we do tell him it's Saturday and some activities we will do, but he's 4... shouldn't make a difference. He is not in school now since it ended last week.

I just don't get it. He can stay up later and it makes no difference. WE can have more exhausting activities like go to an amusement park all day and out late... still up early on a Saturday.
Hoping he sleeps in tomorrow. DH said we shouldn't even hint it's a Saturday and daddy will be home.

Im right there with ya!!! I have to wake john up at 6:30 for school/daycare...but on weekends..he's up waking us up at 6:15
