hey that got me thinking, maybe it is someone house pet, maybe someone got it t for Easter and then decided they didnt want it..and dumped it outside...
Probably not - we have a ton of wild rabbits around here - had our own little bunny patch.
Every day for the past week I have seen two bunnies in my backyard.... I kept calling them Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny. My backyard butts up against a lot of town land. When we went out to inspect the in-ground sprinklers today, DH saw a little one. Seems we have a nest under all of the leaves in the bushes. I told DH he can't do spring clean up now

NO! Don't try to take the bunny inside or put it in a box or cage. Wild bunnies will get panicky and their little hearts start beating really fast and they can very likely die from frieght. I was reading up on them a few years back when we first started seeing lots in our yard and they said the worst thing you can do is try to cage a wild bunny - they probably won't survive.
