go to fortunoffs bakyard center in lake grove. i went last year at this time and got a GREAT deal. not much of a selection but there should be some items left.
i have a wrought iron table and 6 chairs on the patio (found on craigs list) and then a glass top table, 6 chairs, 2 chaises. 2 side tables, and 2 recliner chairs (all fortunoffs) around the pool.

What's considered a "great deal" for patio furniture? I went looking this past weekend and went to Fortunoff in Garden City/Westbury (whatever town it's considered!). I found that the prices were marked down siginificantly but still a little more than we had hoped to spend. I saw a set with a large rectangualr table and 6 chairs for either 650 or 700 (don't remember).

I heard Harrows is "going under" and are offering great deals. Just something to consider. I cant show you our patio furniture since we are searching as well.

We got a great deal on a patio set from the Fortunoff Clearance center that's near Roosevelt Field. I thought their stuff was going to be floor models, but we got everything new in the box.

When we first moved into our house almost 3 years ago we got a great deal on a set at Harrow's in October. In July DH put out the table and left the umbrella up and we had a bad rain storm. The wind took the umbrella and table and smashed the glass table all over our deck. We just bought a new one this week at Harrows. The prices were so high all summer (over $700 for a table w/ no chairs) and they finally came down. We bought a table and umbrella (our chairs were fine) and it cost us $550 at Harrows.
If you don't have your heart set on a particular set and can hold out until after Labor Day I am sure you can get a great deal. I think Harrows also has a financing program if you are interested.

i think i paid around $900 (w/o tax) for a rectangular glass top table, 6 chairs, an umbrella, 2 chiases, 2 end tables, 2 recliner chairs,and 2 ottomons.
this THIS set is VERY similar to the one i bought.
