Washing new kids clothes!
Do you wash all new clothing you buy for your child? My granddaughter is 4 1/2 and my daughter isn't sure if she still has to wash everything before its worn.

I wash everything before my dd wears it. I wash most of my clothing before I wear it too.

I wash all of DS clothes before he wears it but that's only because he has super sensitive skin. He is also only 7 months if he was older then no I wouldnt

I wash everything for dd and always have, she's 23 months. By 4 1/2 I don't think I would.

I use to when they were babies but after a few months old, I would just let them wear things brand new, unwashed.

I wash everything before wearing. I'm pretty sure they put chemicals in clothes to make them look nice and crisp at the store that I don't want to have on my kids. I sometimes wash my own clothes before wearing.

I do. But I even wash mine and DH's new clothes. I worked in retail for a long time and not to skeeve you, but you should see what comes out of those boxes they ship the clothes in sometimes.

This... I get skeeved out by the idea of other people trying on the clothes first - like what kind of skin conditions could they have?
