UTI while Pregnant -- UPDATE--

Has anyone ever had a UTI while pregnant? I am in discomfort and have the urge to be. And buring sensation down there a bit a of pressure. Have a Drs appt at 11:30 today.

Hope that's all it is!!!!!

Update-- Yes, it was a UTI. Gave me an antibiodic to clear it up. While I was there they checked everything. I even got to hear my babiies heartbeat! While the nurse was doing that, my boy kicked really hard..Nurse said " He kicked me! Did you feel that?" We both had a little chuckle. I'm so happy that everything turned out to be okay!

i had 2 with DS.
Its very common. They will give you antibiotics. It should clear right up.

Thanks! Last night I was tossing and turning..couldn't sleep. Didn't realise until I got on the elevator at work and then it hit me. Better to get checked out..I rather be safer than sorry. Otherwise I feel great!

UTI while Pregnant

I had one in my first trimester with DS and didn't even know it. They gave me antibiotics which cleared everything up and there were no problems the rest of the pregnancy.

yes I had a couple the last time- they can give you a low level antibiotic and you'll feel good as new in a couple hours- I think they gave me macrobid

I got them more first tri, 2nd trimester the urge to pee was just the baby on my damn bladder!

i had a uti but had no idea until they called me they precribed ampicillin which I took when i go to my next appt in 9 days hopefully they will tell me it is gone
