Anyone have UTI while pregnant?
I'm suspecting I do and my OB's office as well as my PCP's office are both closed. Aside from drinking cranberry juice/water for now anything else lessen the pain/burning. I'm searching for a walk in because I do not want to go to the ER.

Baking soda and water....disolve 1 tsp of baking soda in a glass of water and drink....this helps to clean out some of the bacteria....good luck!

I have a few times... Make sure you do see your physician as soon as you can and get on antibiotics because complications from an untreated UTI in pregnancy can lead to contractions/pre-term labor.
My midwife practice who is NOT QUICK to ever prescribe medication or antibiotics put me on them every single time I've had one and made sure I took them all.........
Also, if you start anti-biotics take some vaginal pro-biotics to try and minimize getting a wicked yeast infection..

be careful b/c I had 4 UTI's when I was pregnant !! I went once to the ER b/c I thought I was in preterm labor and I was in fact having small contractions and I had a UTI so I needed antibiotics and they said that was propably the cause

I have had them too-I am waiting for results from my urine culture again! But the first time I had one, they put me on meds! Good Luck!

yeah, go to the doctor. I have a chronic UTI problem. My OB put me on Macrodantin daily to keep them away, he said getting them during pregnancy can cause problems, especially if it leads to a kidney infection, which some can. Doctor can give you a pregnancy safe antibiotic. They are apinful little bugger but they are common in pregnancy.

I ended up going to a walk in clinic. I was prescribed Macrobid for a UTI then ended up going to the ER anyway last night because I was bleeding/dehydrated and they wanted to monitor me in L&D. Lesson learned, never wait at first sign of an illness.
