I had tubes put in as a kid, and don't remember a thing! I think its harder on the parents than the patient. Wishing you both much luck!

Good luck I hope everything goes well  My DD had tubes put in when she was a year and a half old and instead of 2 ear infections per month now she only has one every few months.
She was upset and crying when she woke up from the surgery but i sat and held her and calmed her. By the time we got home that same afternoon she was playing with her toys and eating like nothing had happened!

She will be just fine I promise!!!! Hang in there and try to distract yourself as best you can while you're in the waiting room....waiting is the hardest part.

It'll be ok. My nephew had it done a couple of weeks ago. My sister was so nervous, but the whole thing was fast. He woke up upset and not happy, but once they got home he was fine. She said he snuggled with her for a movie and by the time it was over he was himself again.

Good luck. I know it was scary. Both my boys had it done, and it was the BEST thing we did. They havent had an ear infection since the procedure last year.
