Apologies in advance for TMI.
So I started spotting a few days ago and then had a regular flow, heavy enough to require use of tampons. It started at what fertility friend said is 5dpo based on my temps, but I would have thought was 3dpo based on my opk's. The first 2 days were spotting, then needed tampons for 3 days, but it still was lighter than normal and just blood... no thicker stuff. Today it stopped completely. According to FF I am 10 dpo (although it started me on a new cycle based on my bleeding entries). According to when *I* thought I o'ed based on OPK's, I'm 8dpo.
DH and I were about to crack open a 6 pack and break out the grill. On an absolute whim... because something didn't seem right about my flow... and my temps have gone UP not down...
WHAT IS THIS?????? WHAT IS HAPPENING? Is this a chemical? honest opinions please! I can't wrap my head around this based on the amount of bleeding I have had!

It looks like a BFP to me! If you are worried about the whole spotting call your OB in the morning for a BETA and see what those levels are and if they double.

You may have bleed a lot but looking at these tests, you're definitely pregnant so it probably wasn't a period. Good luck, hope it works out!

Definitely pregnant!! Congratulations! Call your dr for a beta/progesterone check tomorrow. You may need to take progesterone.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your story makes me hopeful since I had a similar (I guess?) bleeding experience on Friday. Please keep us posted.

Thanks for all your responses. I still can't believe that this can be real... I mean bleeding enough to require using tampons, that's not implantation bleeding. Good call on maybe needing progesterone - I will definitely be calling OB in the morning!
PS my dh doesn't believe this is real - not even the digital I just took is convincing him!

that is a definite BFP. don't discount it. I bled through my whole first tri with my son...he's 2 now. I went to the hospital to get checked out and had blood squirt out onto the floor. the nurse doing the internal was spooked for me. But he is as healthy as can be.
it was a subchorionic hematoma for me that was causing the bleeding

I had a chemical and bled a few days after my BFP...so since this is reversed I'm taking that as a good sign!! Def call your OB, due to the bleeding they shouldn't make you wait 8 weeks.
I also think I know who you are

Feel free to FM me if you'd like to take a guess, I'm curious!!
Went to dr. this morning, had beta done, will go back wednesday for 2nd beta. Cervix is closed, no way to tell where bleeding is coming from. Did a quick sono to make sure nothing was noticeably off, nothing there, but they wouldn't expect anything since I am not even 4w.
So... the waiting begins!
