Re: ugh.. need some advice
ok, there is a LIST of things, go through them:
-Did she poop recently (last 48 hrs) she might be constipated?
-Is she crying during feedings? (she might have a milk allergy or acid reflux)
-Does she have a diaper rash that making her uncomfortable?
-Is she too hot or too cold?
These are all the things I would ask myself when my DD was that small.
HTH
P.S.: for me the culprit was acid reflux, I thought she was just a cranky baby then she was diagnosed and was literlly a different child in a week!!

no diaper rash that is visable yet.

Re: ugh.. need some advice
are you breastfeeding or formula feeding? I think DD was 5 or 6 weeks old when we figured out she had a milk/soy protein allergy. We were giving her prune juice to get her to poop too and her poop was pretty hard for a nb...we switched her formula a few times and ended up seeing a Ped GI, who diagnosed her and put her on elecare, which worked wonders.

Re: ugh.. need some advice
Could she be gassy??
Try laying her on her back and making bicycle movements with her legs.... this worked really well for me DS. Also, mix an ounce of water with about a tbsp of sugar (sugar water) and dip her binkie in it. It should calm her down for a little while.
How come you give her prune juice to make her poop? Did your ped tell you to do that? Im just curious because when DS wouldn't poop we would give him a supository and eventually we discovered that he had a milk protien allergy - regular formula was making him constipated. What does she drink?
Good luck
