Ugh, I know this is stupid....
but I just saw a video of DD when she was 5 months old trying solids, and how tiny she was....
She'll be turning a year this weekend...today was her due date last year
Just feeling kinda nostalgic/sappy about how fast this 1st year went

It's not stupid. Missing them when they were younger doesn't mean you don't adore them as they grow older.
I do have to say you have so many things to look forward to this coming year. Walking, talking...their little personalities coming out...

It is amazing how much they change in that first year. It isn't stupid it is so crazy how quickly the year went.

Awe. not stupid. We all get like that
I was watching Mason play the other day with a toy and he's standing holding onto it and it hit me how big he's getting b/c now he's standing tall holding the play garage. I remember when he was playing and holding onto it and the top of his head barely came up to the top of the toy.

I always get that feeling when I'm scrolling through the pics on my camera and I get to the end of them and end up back at the beginning. I NEVER take pics off my memory card (bad habit!) and so I always go from the most recent pic to some of the very oldest ones and my heart always hurts when I see her so small, knowing she will never be that small again. I love her every age she is, but seeing her so small and vulerable gets me every time
