Tuesday FMQOTD #2
Here is the second question since I missed yesterday.
I'm sure this has been asked before but who will be in the delivery room with you and who do you think will be in the waiting room?
For me...
I will have my DH with me in the delivery room. If my mom was still with us she would also be there but since she is gone I really want my sister to be in the delivery room with me.
As for the waiting room...who knows! I know my dad, my aunt (my mom's sister) and some of my cousins will be there but you never know who else will show up!
ETA: DH's family lives in Florida but if it ends up that I have to have a c-section then I am sure his mom and grandma will be here too!

Everyone I know will be at the hospital. I will only have my DH in the room with me I feel like its something very personal between a husband a wife to experience.
I may change my mind though- not sure. My sister would like to see a natural birth.

I think it will be just DH and I in the delivery room. At this point, that is what think I will want.
I am sure that my entire family will be in the waiting room. This will be the first child in our family so I am sure there will be a ton of people there.

Most likely it will just be me and my Dh. I would like to have my mom and maybe sister there but DH doesnt want anyone there but him which I can understand but I was there for 2 of my nieces births and it was so amazing and special (and did not take away from my sister and her husbands moment) I know my mom and sister would love to be there. We shall see.
In the waiting room Im sure will be my Dad, sisters, sister in laws, In-laws, grandparents, friends. I hope a lot of people are waiting I want them all to see my little bambino when they arrive

hm this is tough bc on one hand it would be so nice if it were just DH and me in the DR but for some reason I think I'll want my mom in there. Then I'd probably feel bad leaving MIL out so we'd probably invite her in, too. I am very close with my mom and MIL so I think this may be the way it goes.
as far as the waiting room goes, it would DEF be my mom, dad, MIL, FIL, our brothers, probably my aunts, maybe some of DH's aunts, DHs grandparents, probably some of my girl cousins, def my 3 best friends, probably some of DH's friends, too. It's going to be a party  and I'm going to miss it

I only want DH in the delivery room. I'm super close with my mom, but still, I feel like it's something special to share with my husband. My grandmother wasn't in the room with my mother, so I know she'll understand.
In the waiting room, I'm sure it'll be my parents and DH's parents--and our siblings, depending on the time of day it is.

I only want dh to be in the room with me when the time comes...
As for who will be at the hospital - I honestly have no idea...my parents and brother definitely will...Maybe some of dh's siblings...it could turn into a 3 ring circus...however it goes, it will be a great day...

DH will be the only other I allow in the room. I feel childbirth is a very private experience and heaven forbid something went wrong there is no one else i know that would be able to handle it.

Our immediate families can be in the waiting room if they want.

Probably just DH in the room, maybe my mom. My parents live 6 hours away, so hopefully they can come up beforehand. In the waiting room, I expect my parents and my sister, DH's parents, not sure about his brothers, and probably his one aunt. I'm sure many of our friends will visit the next day.

I go back and forth all the time. Lately though I'm leaning towards only having DH in the room. Sometimes I think maybe my mom and best friend, but I don't know.

Only DH will be with me in the delivery room.
I'm pretty sure most of his family will be in the waiting room, and that means it will be packed cuz his family is huge!
However, my side of the family will probably wait til the next day or reasonable hour to come visit because they won't want to sit there and wait for  and/or sit in traffic from Staten Island.
