Yes he said a stupid remark about the 2nd Amendment but I also want to know why Hillary was speaking and the father of the Orlando shooter, who has terrorist affiliations, is sitting smack dab behind her on screen. What is that showing and was that even on the news? If it was, definitely it was swept by.
I do think Trump hates the media, for sure. But I don't think he always did, and I don't think they hated him either until recently. If you think back to the months leading up to summer, he'd call into tv news programs regularly. One morning I got fed up because Morning Joe was having him call in- AGAIN- so I changed the channel. Later that morning he called whatever show I'd switched to. And he was really the only one who got to do that, at least as often as he did. And they asked him ridiculous easy questions too- I heard an audio clip of him & the Morning Joe hosts that was recorded without them realizing their mikes were on- and they were going over the questions they'd ask. Trump said, "ok, nothing too hard"  And that's how it went for months until the media realized they had done a ****** job, hadn't pressed him enough and they unintentionally helped him get the nomination. If they'd done their jobs with integrity instead of for ratings and clicks, he would have imploded (like he's doing now) and we'd have another candidate.
You're right. I should have said they hate him now. He was on every news station because they were treating him like a joke but it backfired. I honestly do not think Trump thought he would get the nomination but just wanted to get his point across that the country is not in the best shape. Unfortunately people started rallying around him and he got the nomination. I find it comparable to how well Bernie did (and yes I know they are totally different with totally different perspectives) but Bernie was also showing how the government is not working the way it is and he also had a powerful movement. This election is a joke but hopefully it has made people aware of the issues that we all face and that things do need to change and we eventually will get a President who can help do that.

BUT why do we keep complaining about the stupid crazy out of control comments he makes? IMO it just means he is handing the card to HRC. And at this point, I will take it.
So keep going Trump, even the military has stopped supporting him. I guess now that they know he always wanted a purple heart but made sure he wouldn't serve his Country.
The man is nuts, let his nutty brain keep running, its making sure he DOESN"T win.
This is along the lines of what I was thinking.
I am torn because I love this country and I hate what this whole discourse consists of and makes us look like to the rest of the world. That part of me wants it to stop, now.

Not true. Clinton clearly indicated that she would appoint Supreme Court Justices who will allow gun bans.

Factcheck has clarified this as well as posting an article from Reuters. In another Reuters article, he has mentioned that he would talk to Jung Un to try to stop Pyongyang's nuclear program and get China involved to help solve the problem.
People need to read the facts and stop reading the twisted liberal media.

The problem I see here is people bashing Trump supporters...stop it. Everyone is entitled to vote for who they think is the better candidate..even if you don't agree and it doesn't make sense to you. It seems to me like the liberals who are supposed to be more accepting seem to be the ones doing most of the bashing on here.

You - nor anyone - has ever offered a productive response. He has no policies, no potential legislation, no standing on any important topics that make any rational, logical sense.
When there is literally NOTHING that supports his wild claims (they are words, they have no actual, factual basis nor does he have any actual, factual policies) people are dumbfounded. Absolutely dumbfounded. Everyone says they are voting for him but no one says WHY other than to say Hillary is a liar and he speaks the truth?
ETA: I am not looking for anyone to respond with their reasons, this is a commentary on how people don't have anything to back DT up.

I think if the Republicans had ANYONE other than Trump you'd find more tolerance among the opposing party and perhaps more constructive debates. But when your own party cannot tolerate you and you've basically alienated, insulted, ridiculed, and put down almost every race, ethnicity, gender, disability, etc. you're going to be hard pressed to find a lot of tolerance from any liberal. Or *most* anyone for that matter.
I think you'd be hard pressed to make a case for Trump being anything other than an ignorant, unpolished, inappropriate, arrogant, ill informed, rude, insulting douche. It's just what he is and what he's always been.........long before this election. He prides himself on being a loud mouth and I guess if that appeals to you, more power to you. But when you're talking about a LEADER and the HIGHEST power position in this country I'm sorry, but there is NO way Trump is suitable. I don't love HRC but I hope she thrashes him in this election because honest to god, if he's elected we're in for a VERY long, rough, horrible 4 years.
Elections get everyone heated, this year in particular, and if you're tired of hearing about how people hate Trump (or any candidate for that matter) just stay out of the discussion. If every time you read a thread like this you feel personally attacked and you're agitated then don't open these political threads. I'm ready to choke out some of the Trump supporters I know IRL because it's just CONSTANT posting of Trump rhetoric and nonsense on FB but I've learned to just keep on scrolling. Those who are complaining should do the same, it's a lot easier than arguing with people about what they should and should not be saying.

I've ALWAYS felt that Trump has NEVER wanted to actually be president. I think he started all of this because it gave him a platform to run his mouth off and fuel his giant ego. And then the whole thing got away from him. I don't think ANYONE, including Trump, thought we'd be here right now with him as the Republican nominee. If he REALLY cared about winning you would think he would be a little more measured in his responses and statements. But he's not. Part of me thinks it's intentional. I think he wants to turn people off. I think he wants the media to hate him. I think he WANTS to lose. Truly, I do. I agree with pretty much everything you wrote but I wanted to highlight this. I was beyond disturbed by the lack of media coverage of the Orlando shooter's dad. This morning I was watching the news and they were going on and on and on about Trump encouraging HRC be assassinated by the 2nd amendment supporters. Then, they briefly mention that the Orlando shooter's father was in the crowd at the HRC rally. It was basically, "Mateens father sat front and center. HRC's camp said she had no idea. Now to the weather." I was stunned that such a story was glossed over.
First of all, how could a known terrorist's father get into a political function like that with all of the secret service, etc.? You can not tell me that the dad is not on some watch list. His son, after pledging allegiance to ISIS, killed 50 people and injured another 50+ and he just shows up and is granted entry to that event? Secondly, how does the news just mention that in passing, like it was no biggie? Who invited him there? How did he get in? If HRC truly had no idea he was there, this is a serious security issue. Why wasn't that discussed in the story? If that was Trump and he gave that same response, it would be the only thing spoken about for days on end.
I'm really fed up with the media this election. It is so hard to get a real idea of what is going on because the media is so slanted. I would love to learn more about the third party candidates but it certainly isn't going to be through the news channels because they certainly get no air time.

I absolutely agree. I think he ran just to prove that he could "win" . I wont lie Im registered republican I usually vote that way....not this year

I really don't like getting into political talk, it gets ugly quick but I thought this video was interesting (especially the beginning). It was interesting for me to see how he has had a lot of the same ideas and opinions for many years. I wish he spoke more like he did years ago (like in the Oprah interview). I do think ultimately he wants what's best for America but his mouth is ruining all of that for many people. I had heard about the father being at the rally but didn't care enough to look into it further. I agree it's in poor taste but last I heard, he didn't commit the act of terrorism so I guess I just don't see what the hoopla would be about, unless there's something I missed about him being involved in the shooting. Meanwhile, ex-congressman Mark Foley was at a trump rally and he himself was involved in a child molestation scandal while in congress. So I guess I just don't understand why the Orlando shooters father is a big deal but a child molester isn't. Again, unless I missed something and he was directly involved other than being his father.

His son, after pledging allegiance to ISIS, killed 50 people and injured another 50+ and he just shows up and is granted entry to that event? Secondly, how does the news just mention that in passing, like it was no biggie? Who invited him there? How did he get in? If HRC truly had no idea he was there, this is a serious security issue. Why wasn't that discussed in the story? If that was Trump and he gave that same response, it would be the only thing spoken about for days on end.
I'm really fed up with the media this election. It is so hard to get a real idea of what is going on because the media is so slanted. I would love to learn more about the third party candidates but it certainly isn't going to be through the news channels because they certainly get no air time.
I had heard about the father being at the rally but didn't care enough to look into it further. I agree it's in poor taste but last I heard, he didn't commit the act of terrorism so I guess I just don't see what the hoopla would be about, unless there's something I missed about him being involved in the shooting. Meanwhile, ex-congressman Mark Foley was at a trump rally and he himself was involved in a child molestation scandal while in congress. So I guess I just don't understand why the Orlando shooters father is a big deal but a child molester isn't. Again, unless I missed something and he was directly involved other than being his father.

Just because this man's son shot up a club does that mean he's to be held responsible for his GROWN ADULT son's actions?? Years ago my DH worked with a man (a VERY hard working good employee) whose son broke into a home and killed the homeowner. Should he have not held a job or gone into the world anymore because of the crimes of his son??? So I guess I too cannot understand why the father of the Orlando shooter cannot still live his life, have an opinion, and support a candidate despite what his son did.
Am I missing something too?

When there is literally NOTHING that supports his wild claims (they are words, they have no actual, factual basis nor does he have any actual, factual policies) people are dumbfounded. Absolutely dumbfounded. Everyone says they are voting for him but no one says WHY other than to say Hillary is a liar and he speaks the truth?
