I am still confused. He was hypothesizing about if she won and the picks were hers. What would/could voters united behind ANY cause do at that point?
Literally, what is the alternate interpretation? Once she wins, there is nothing anyone can do because the picks are hers (true) EXCEPT the "second amendment people BECAUSE...they can...what? What could the voters do at that point?

Sorry, but did you LISTEN to what he said, or just read about it - the intonation in the way he said made it very clear that he wanted to get a point across to kill her. Do I believe he actually meant "go out and kill her"? NO. But it is beyond unacceptable for a US MAJOR PARTY PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE to go anywhere near making such a reference. IT's amazing to me how many well respected, high ranking members of the Republican party are coming out and saying they cannot support him - it's unprecedented but makes so much sense.

Unfortunately this is another example of one of his speech that will need clarification on Twitter later on. Like the others before.
His entire campaign is foot in the mouth and ambiguous comments.
A president is clear in his/her language. It is very important so there is no room for interpretation for it's citizens but other world leaders. And they never need to clarify themself on a regular basis on Twitter.
In this case, he totally left it ambiguous and he knew what he was saying but just enough to say he did not say it. He never said vote. It is pure speculation to say this is what he meant. He made sure to imply she would be taken care of. All experts are saying this kind of left for interpretation talk is very dangerous.
This is what I have been thinking. It's absolutely ludicrous that he needs to qualify about 95% of what he says. I can't stand hearing "That's not what he meant." "What he was saying was..."
NO!!! If you want to be the president, you need to have a better grasp on the language - a better grasp on how to COMMUNICATE!!!! He has none!
"Best words" my a$$!! He can't go one day without having to clarify what he said.
And then yesterday he says this!! Do I think he wants someone to shoot her? I don't know. I mean, they WERE friends, weren't they? But if he can't see by now that some of his supporters are just looking for the OK to do crazy stuff (I mean, look at the vile things they chant at his rallys because he has basically either encouraged it or at the very least, not tried to stop it) then that is a "HUGE" problem!

This was what he said: “Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish, the Second Amendment,” he said. “By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know. But I’ll tell you what, that will be a horrible day.”
I feel like my 6 year old could put together a more coherent group of sentences.
Reading that gave me a headache!

Typical liberal spin  SPIN?? Spin is the last 25 years of the GOP twisting every breath out of Clinton's mouth to be some kind of evil plot to take over the universe. The proof is the vast number of people who believe it all, and hold her responsible for things that every other (male) politician gets pardoned for (and I'm NOT saying she's a saint, but she's actually a human being which she doesn't get credit for).
Meanwhile, here we are reading transcripts and watching unedited videos of Trump inciting violence, saying hateful, racist, inflammatory things at anyone who disagrees with him but we're misinterpreting his OWN WORDS heard with our OWN EARS.
Honestly, thinking that this man is a better candidate than almost anyone else is what's wrong with this country. We're so filled with hate and fear, that we admire a school yard bully. We're so weak we're willing to elect a greedy, narcissistic, unqualified hot head to represent us. I truly I believe he's going to leave us in shambles like Germany after WWII - broken, hated by everyone and powerless.

It's not "us". Your candidate lowers the bar every single day of his campaign. It is *astounding* to most rational people. When your own party can't even back you, when former presidents won't back you, when RUSSIA BACKS YOU...
