Transfer cancelled
Nothing like getting the phone call a few hrs before....I can't even go into all the details right now bc I'm so upset but it seems that yesterday (day 4) the embryologist called dr b and said they were doing great and day 5 shouldn't be a problem. Now dr b gets a call that overnight the embies have seemed to start to arrest, they are all still in the morula stage and shoul be blasts, not one of 10 made it, dr b doesn't want to transfer them, he said he is going to call me later and see if they make any progress but it doesn't look good. He said some other stuff about a male factor issue bc the problem seems to present at day 3 and that's when the male factor should kick in and it isn't but we've had the testsand everything is fine  I'm going back to bed, just wanted to update you guys since you've all been so great and supportive. 
This has been the worst 2 1/2 yrs

I'm so sorry you are going through this.... All this excitement at first and now this? How could everthing look so good and then all of a sudden all the embies are arresting? I don't know what to say except

I have been trying to think of an appropriate response, but there is nothing... I just don't know enough about these things, but if it is possible, I am praying for a miracle that at least a couple of your embryos make it.

I'm so very sorry. There are no words for this disappointment.
You didn't mention any abnormalities, fragmentation, cell irregularity, etc.
Could your embies just be alittle slow to develop and multiply? I had a morula that finally on day 5 (late) into day 6 compacted. It was then frozen on day 6. It's not a perfect AA but I think the next grade under.
Found this on advancedfertility. com
"Although morula stage embryos are usually seen on day 4 and blastocysts are usually seen on day 5, sometimes we have only morulas on day 5. In such a case, we do not know if the embryos are slower than average because they are weaker, or because they are strong and healthy but just going a little slower than average. Transferring morulas on day 5 results in a reasonable pregnancy rate, although it is not as high as the pregnancy rate with blastocyst transfer on day 5."

Thanks everyone
The embies seem good except that they aren't progressing. They are still watching them to see if they pick up, if they do then I could possibly transfer tomorrow but I don't think it's going to happen

First of all...I'm so very sorry that this has happened. Second, it is the case that some embies make it day 6 and not day 5 so there is hope...they may even become blasts later today. Also, I have read exactly what Dr. B told you...that often when there is a problem with an embryo after Day 3, that it is a male factor issue. You say that you have all of the tests, but my guess is that Dr. B is talking about DNA tests on your DH's sperm to look for something like a balanced translocation. If you've already had DNA testing done...not sure what other tests he is referring to.
I hope it all works out for you.

I am so sorry!! I am shocked!!! I am he somehow calls you later with better news!! I really do HATE the rollercoaster of infertility... this just stinks I will definitely be giving you a big hug tomorrow night!
