totally TMI question about the situation down there and delivery.
I'm just curious what everyones plan is for their situation when its time for birth. I got waxed with DS but this time I've been having some issues with yeast infections and I'm afraid to go bare but even more afraid to not. Its okay if you don't want to share its a personal and sometimes embarrassing topic.

The place I go - if you do bikini wax they literally leave you with a Mr T kind of look and trim what's left - since I can see down there - its great.

Im really not concerned with making my nether regions look good for a dr or nurses or anyone other than myself and DH
since i'm finding it harder and harder to see anything down there lately, i'm considering waxing for the summer so i don't have to worry about anything. But i'd be doing it for DH, bathing suits and my own comfort, more than for the delivery

Ihad a Brazilian wax around 2 weeks prior to delivery. So by the time I delivere I already didn't look lime a 5 yo girl lol but was still well maintained. Trust me with everythi g that's gonna come out of u u WILL NOT want it sticking to anything if u know what I mean... Just o e less thi g to worry about!

i'll do my best to be clean shaven. it gets harder as the days go by,.
FYI...my SIL is a labor and delivery nurse and said not to be too concerned with it. Unless its an out of control jungle, neither the doc nor the nurses even notice, it really is just a personal thing.

I'm not really overly concerned since Ive been through this before and I know it doesnt matter in the moment. My concern is that I think it wont just be DH and I this time and I dont want to scare off anyone else

Once a week I took a little mirror into the shower and shaved. I was/am very particular before dr visits, and I like to have a real clean shave.
My water broke, and the next thing I did was get in the shower and landscape. There was no way I was gonna be all wild down there for delivery.

I was sooooo glad that i kept up with my brazilians before giving birth. I actually went about 10 days before I gave birth ( I was 6 days late ) and it made the clean up after sooooo much easier and I just felt cleaner!

ITA! Your bleeding sooo much after it really helped to be hair free.

i have never waxed the nether region and don't think I can ever bring myself to do it. I just shave the sides with a regular razor and trim the strip very short with the electric. this past time my hubby helped me because he saw how blindly i was shaving ...i really can't see anything!!
My hubby says he feels like he's messing with a 15 year old girl when i go completely bare...and I'm sure the dr's will have seen plenty of vajayjays worse than mine will be on that day. I'm not worried about it.
