It's fine.... I'll adjust. so many women on this board have to deal with sooo much more than this. At least I can still otherwise do what I want.
That is a great attitude to have! I had GD and felt so bad for myself for awhile, but once I got over it, it wasn't that bad. In the beginning you will be stricter, but once you figure out what works for you, you can have some treats. Some of the snacks I loved were PB on crackers, No sugar added icecream with PB, Lorna Doones 100 cal packs, and I even had cheesecake and I was ok. It will take some getting used to but you'll get through it. Oh and a benefit is that you won't gain as much weight! GL and have fun on your trip!

Re: totallty failed 3 hour test
Awwww I'm sorry!!!!!! I just took my one hour test today so who knows, I might be keeping you company soon!!!
But still, I HAVE to believe that whole wheat bread in EUROPE tastes a whole lot better than whole wheat in stinky NY.
Glad you got your appts tomorrow and you'll be able to enjoy your trip!!!!!

Well at least you have a really good attitude! I applaud you for taking it in stride.
So does this mean you have to rename the Crouton to something low-carb? Just kidding around!
Have a great trip!!!!

this is exactly what I've been telling DH. 'How can they expect me to bake a little loaf if they won't let me have flour???!
nope, the 1st day of the third trimester will be when we go to london, and Crouton will officially become 'Scone'
(and I'll still have a bite of scone... just not a whole one )

Re: totallty failed 3 hour test
Like someone said, once you get used to the diet you know when you can "cheat".
I used to like (and still eat) were triskets w/peanut butter and Sugar Free Bryers ice cream (I only liked Bryers)

Re: totallty failed 3 hour test
I had GD- I basically went on a protein diet..and bought sugar free everything and low carb bread. It stinks but you get used to it and you end up gaining less weight during your pregnancy.
