Too good to be true?! (Updated: It was...)
So I got my BFP on Sunday morning at 11DPO and realized I was bleeding 5 minutes later. I had cramps on Sunday and then bled heavily until Tues (bright red on Monday). The PG tests stayed positive and my temp stayed up so I confused but even the OB thought it was likely a chemical pregnancy... WELL she called me today with yesterday's test results and said my HCG levels doubled and my progesterone increased and looks good too  I'm SO excited and yet so scared at the same time... She's going to do a sonogram at 6 weeks and I know I'm going to be a wreck until then. I feel like it's a miracle but I'm also wondering if it's even possible to bleed like that and everything be OK? 
Updated: Well, I miscarried today. Horrible cramps, bleeding heavily again and the test is now negative. I'm just wish we never got our hopes up so high in the middle of the week only to crash down again. And on top if it, I am scheduled to leave for a business trip tomorrow afternoon until Weds when all I want to do is be with my family

yes..it is possible to bleed like that and still be pregnant.
infact, my grandmother had a period every month for 9 months when she was pregnant with my uncle.
So it does happen, odd as it may be.

I've read a lot of stories about women who have bled throughout their pregnancies so I think it is definitely possible that this is a viable pregnancy. for a great sonogram in a few weeks.

I bled heavily at around 6 weeks and went to the ER- everything was fine. I had a hematoma (blood clot) that caused the bleed.
It is possible.

i had 3 episodes of 'spotting' early on in the pregnancy.
when i spoke to my OB about it - she said there are women in the world who either, spot, bleed regularly and don't bleed at all that carry 100% healthy pregnancies. she also said that there are women who miscarry who may never, EVER bleed....and have any clue that they did....why??? NO CLUE - but it happens...
