yep, totally normal. I'll never forget changing Roman's diaper and him telling me to keep wiping him because it feels so good. My 2 yr old gets them too but he can't understand the sensation so he says hurt. I asked DH and he assured me it doesn't hurt, lol. My daughter has been wiggling around on people's laps since about 2.5. It freaks me out and I have to put her down immediately. My older two (5,3) go to their rooms for "private time", lol

I'm pregnant w/  and the Dr. told us that they get erect in utero!
I think I'm totally going to faint if my  need "private time" in her room! forget about when this one gets old enough!!!

Ok I have a 5 month old DS and I am FREAKING OUT about all of this boy stuff! I was 1 of 3 girls so I never experienced any of this! I am not ready for all of these penis problems!!!!
DS just found his penis in the tub the other day. I kept moving his hand away because he was literally digging his fingers into his balls and pulling on them (ouch). DH thought it was hilarious chuckling "Matty found his fun bags." I am SO not cut out for this!!!!

OMG... I can't even deal.
I KNOW already my DS is his father's son. The way he smiles at me when I wipe him while I"m changing his diaper I'm just like please.. just stop smiling.. mommy's not ready.
And my DD with her hands in her pants sometimes.. I ask her do you have to go to the bathroom?? Why are you touching yourself???

DS discovered his penis around... 6 months or so. He would play with it in the bath and at every.diaper.change He would pull on his "fun bags" too and I'm like, doesn't that hurt?!? DH assured me it doesn't.
At 10 months, he seems less interested (thank God). It's amazing to me that they have penis obsession from such a young age. It's just programmed into them, it seems!

Yep, this was me. I would read these threads/hear stories from friends and be like while thanking God that I had girls!
Yeah, those days are over now... + ! I have several months left before I need to deal with this I guess; however, on the flip side, I do have a friend whose *DD* would lay on her tummy and hump things constantly around age 3.
Those with all boys are thanking God they don't have to deal with periods. It's always something...

DS 'discovered' his twig and berries in the bath around 6 months old. He will now just sit in the bath and yank at them. DH and I just laugh (DH will sometimes yell out "frank and beans!") and DS thinks it's hilarious. He'll occasionally get wood also during a diaper change. I'm used to it at this point but it was definitely awkward in the beginning

Also, lately, every diaper change his hands go right down and he starts pulling, tugging rubbing...
he even took off his diaper the other and came over very proudly yelling, "pee pee".. like I may have forgotton it was there!!

Having 2 boys and lots of nephews I have found the lifelong obsession begins early. And we all know it's a lifelong obsession.
My older son never really played with it that much as a baby but he went through a phase of checking it was still there around 4-5 yrs old. Just grabbing it through his pants - I can't tell you how many times people would say "Does he have to go to the bathroom?" I told him it's fine to grab it but in private.
My younger son has been a blanket humper since he was very small. I knew I had to address it when he was humping a pillow in my SIL's dining room full of guest on Thanksgiving when he was about 16 months. I told him the same - you can do it but you have to do it in private. He doesn't do it in public anymore but every now and again I'll catch him in the living room (he's 4 1/2) and I say the same thing.
No shame or concern necessary, it's normal.
