Toddler boys and erections....sorry may be TMI...
My DS is 21 months. Recently, when he was constipated, I decided to put him on the toilet bowl with the potty seat. This was the first time he ever sat on the "potty." This morning he saw the seat and placed it on the toilet. I figured he was interested, so I assisted him on the potty. He started playing with the roll of toilet paper. I ripped a piece off and he began wiping himself (in the front). He wouldn't stop and eventually ended up with an erection. I was completely shocked and somewhat concerned....but I didn't say anything nor make a big deal.
My question: is this normal? should I be concerned? is he masterbating this young?

totally normal!!! They only know that it tickles, not that it's going anywhere KWIM??.... I just tell Teddy we only need to "Pat" twice, and keep going like nothing happened.

If I open the diaper and theres "wood" I just close it and wait till later. DS likes to play with his after the bath and I just tell him hands up and don't play with your pee pee.

I had no idea erections could happen until they got more testorone at puberty age.
