I love hearing about all the funny/great things our babies are learning to do, say, etc....and plus it gives us all a minute to brag about our kids....

Words: Mom-mom, Dadee, Hi, Juice, Cheese, Yes, Yum, Ariel, Jaedyn, This, That, Up, No, Bottle, & more but Im forgetting...
Loves: Wheels, Laundry Baskets, the Remote, Laptop, and the Vacuum.
Hates: Shoes and/or socks, having his diaper changed, and his face washed.
One the Go: He's ALMOST a walker. He can take 8+ steps but he still prefers to crawl.

Funny TidBit: He pretends to snore.."snort, whistle, snort, whistle, snort, whistle"...I have a ranch with a long hallway where all the bedrooms are and the bathroom. He isnt allowed in 2 of the bedrooms or the bathroom (generally speaking) He knows, by sound, exactly which door has opened and closed, if you have securely shut the door or not, and if you are in the room. It is hysterical. Not matter how quite you try to be or sneak into the bathroom or bedroom he'll be right there banging on the correct door.

One the Go: After PT she basically does everything now. She just has problems climbing on the couch.

Funny TidBit: He thinks he's a cat and walks around saying "Mee-ow". He chases the cat while pushing his Mater walker truck and finds it hysterically funny. He's known as the Mayor at his daycare because he says hello to everyone who walks into the room. He gets very excited and starts laughing and turning in circles when his Daddy gets home from work. He likes to dance and will stop what he's doing and shake his hiney to whatever song comes on the radio or tv.

When I tell him No -- he waves his finger and says No-No but tries to do it anyway

He is really into waving hi and bye to people and saying hi and bye-bye. He gets soooo upset if people ignore him he starts screaming BYE-BYE and waving like a mad man!

Words: Mmmma-ma, da-da, ba-ba, and in the last 24 hours na-na
Loves: Anything she isn't supposed to play with, riding on daddy's shoulders
Hates: naps , gets when you take away paper
One the Go: She pulled up to a stand on Aug 1 and started cruising Aug 2! In the last week she has started to let go and can stand unassisted for @ 2 seconds. In a full out crawl she is very very fast!!

Funny TidBit: Grandma didn't hear me when I told her DD climbs stairs (or shall we say didn't listen ). When I picked DD up yesterday I was told grandma was on the phone & DD was playing at her feet and the next thing my mother heard was knocking (like a door knocker) and she realized DD was playing with a brass planter (since that is the only thing that makes that noise) ON THE STAIRS!! My mother now understands that DD can climb stairs.

Favorite Foods: with all the major food issues we are having i think the only things that she likes and dont do a number on her tummy right now are Peas and Bananas
Favorite Toy: turtle and crab bath toys
Words: none really momma if shes really mad and sometimes it sounds like she says 'ow' and 'oh' and 'hi'
Loves: remotes, phones, papers
Hates: being left alone
One the Go: she is a champion crawler, can pull to stand and move a little bit holding on to things but not that great at it...she has stood unassisted a couple times....all which i have missed!!!
Funny TidBit: she loves to fake cough! if you cough at her she will cough back...she also loves being upside down crazy kid!

Words: she repeats almost every word we say and she's is using 2-3 word groupings a lot ....ex: "wake up mommy", "daddy phone" (when his phone rings), "I love you", "brown bear see" (for the book) etc. I taught her the difference between motorcycle and ambulance sounds and she names them correctly when she hears them.

Loves: to help mommy or daddy with anything, to draw, to eat anywhere but her highchair, bath bubbles, shoes, having cuddle time before bed, reading books

Hates: having her toenails clipped, a warm bedroom (she must have it cool to sleep), leaving the park (or "pork" as she says it)

On the Go: She's constantly running, jumping, dancing. The kid doesn't stop except the sleep and read books. She is the mover/shaker in her daycare class too.

Words: Only says dada really but she sometimes says mama when she is really angry

Loves: looking at herself in the mirror, music, elmo, tigger

Hates: her car seat on most days, having her face wiped, anyone touching her mouth (she's teething), having her diaper changed, anything that restrains her arms.

On the Go: She is crawling like a champ and pulls herself up on things and cruises. She's still getting the hang of cruising and would rather crawl to wherever she wants to be

Funny Tidbit: She just recently started making kissing sounds. When you say "kisses" she pulls in her bottle lip and makes a smooching sound.

One the Go: Hasnt really started moving at all. He has mastered rolling from back to belly and belly to back. Will do that all day long and turn around on both his back and belly to face a different direction, but no signs of crawling yet!

Words: Now speaking in full sentences- "I want Daddy to put me to bed" is the longest one yet. That was last night. Said with a pout too. Very quiet around people she doesn't know though. She also counts to 15 and knows her alphabet if you sing the song. She amazes me and DH and I wonder where she gets it from!
Loves: swimming(especially jumping in backwards with her Daddy), going to the park, slides, climbing, pushing her dolly in the stroller and "changing her diaper". She is obsessed with poop right now Freud would love my kid.
Hates: Being told no, other kids playing with her toys, and getting out of bed in the morning.
On the go: Runs, jumps, kicks, dances with her whole body, can do the doggie paddle in the pool with support

One the Go: He goes on the potty, likes to wash his hand and brush his teeth.

Extra: He like to play hide and seek (he cheats) he faces the wall and counts 1,2,2 and then watches me while I hide and come running after me laughing. He also says EWWWW to everything. Ewww to his dirty diaper, eww to veggies, ewww if his paci falls on the floor then tell me "GO WASH". Also, he loves coloring and doing his "paper work". He sits at his table with his face an inch from the paper scribbling/coloring.
