This may be a really stupid question...Temping related
Do you still ovulate while on BCP and is it possible to start temping the first day of your period if you are on BCP? Just curious..

You do not ovulate while on the pill. That's how it stops you from getting pregnant.

Yea, thats what I thought but then I read online that it depends on the type of pill that you are on  . But anyway, I do think you're right and thats what I thought too. Thanks!

Well its possible to get pregnant when youre on the pill so doesnt that mean you have to be ovulating...

That's a good question.
Indeed..
Most people are on pills that work two ways.....there are hormones that a supposed to stop your ovulating, and hormones that make the uterine lining a "hostile" environment just incase you do ovulate (this would prevent anything from implanting). It is possible to ovulate on the pill, but not usual.
