This is why I HATE the warmer weather...
BUGS ARE BACK!!!
I just killed the biggest bug I have ever seen in real life... It was long, skinny, and brown, had sooo many legs that when I sprayed the Raid on him, from a distance, half of them just came off! 
I have a serious, SERIOUS fear of bugs. Like I have panic attacks just THINKING about them and now I feel like things are crawling all over me. 
And the best part is that DH is not home and now he has to clean up the remains. I want to throw up.

i think ive have those in my apartment!!!!! no joke...i slept with the light on one night after i killed one. were there stripes on some legs?
omg, im getting stressed just thinking of this thing....

Honestly, I could not tell. I was about to go into my basement, and when I open the door from the kitchen to go downstairs (the back door is right there and that is how he probably got in somehow) he was just crawling on the wall. I started to whimper, then whine and cry, and KNEW that I had to murder it because if I didn't, I would never be able to go into the basement again for the rest of my life. So I was brave, got the raid, and sprayed until it died. It was all brown I believe, but I could be wrong.

Ewwww. I HATE bugs!!!
I killed some gross looking beetle thing last night. I didn't want to do it but he was on my door and when I went to open it he threw himself at me. Made me scream at 1am and woke up the whole house lol.

i just killed a tiny bug no clue what it was but i too am afraid of bugs small or large. i also have a fear of ever getting bed bugs and now ocnvinced myself because it was near my couch that it was one

DH killed a bug that looked just like the one you described the other night, it was long brown and had like a million legs, nasty!! I got the home defense spray at home depo and went nuts around my house--lol

OMG, same here.
Yesterday I found a WASP in my house, I don't know how it got in!!! I was screaming as I was hitting it and heard it crunching! I thank God I saw it, and that it didn't have a chance to sting me in my sleep! DH came home from work to clean up it's remains, I seriously could not touch it.
I hate bugs, really flip me out. I hear ya loud and clear.
Then I found some lightning bug looking bug in my house today, in teh same spot!! I am trying to see if there is a way these suckers are getting in. I smashed that one as fast as I could. Now I am afraid of seeing them everywhere, I don't feel safe in my house anymore!!!

I really feel your pain. Especially the part about whimpering, then crying...that's me....I HATE THEM. And that bug you're talking about, I'm pretty sure I kept myself up an entire night once because I couldn't find him. Then I must have fallen asleep on the couch with the bug spray until I actually HEARD him clickety clackety on the wood floor. It was enormous. I wish I had a picture. My landlord told me they live in the sewer.

OMg I found a wasp too. I would never have seen except that I gave the dog a treat and she dropped the treat and was looking at something on the floor. Just before she put it in her mouth I realized it was a wasp!! I started screaming like a looney toon and she ran away. Then I stomped on it. And it made that awful crunching... Ugh.. I hate bees.

Your post makes me because you heard him!!
My SIL used to live in our basement and would see these things occasionally and freak out. I have never seen it in real life and I couldn't get to bed last night until 1am because I was so freaked out.
I think I need to see a therapist sometimes because of how I am with bugs. I once made my mom drive over to my house to kill a cricket when DH wasn't home.

I hate bugs and omg spiders make me run and scream. We have brown recluses, and jumping spiders and these big hairy black spiders that seriously could take up their own zip code. I spray it with raid and the thing just dont' die until u squish it and here it crunch...EWWWW, omg i have the creepy crawly feeling now...
We live in a wooded area up here and there's bugs i have never seen in my life until i moved here from LI.
DH sprays that home defense at least twice a season all year long inside and out.

If so, it's a centipede. I captured one with a plastic cup and a folder in the office the other day, brought it outside and threw it. I didn't see where it landed then felt itchy and gross all day- like it was on me. I went into the bathroom and shook out all my clothes.

I had ants 2 days ago. I went on a cleaning rampage- my house was clean to begin with, but I do not live with bugs. Needless to say I feel like I worked out for a month right now, I am so sore. I hate bugs. YUCK!
3 weeks ago there were bees in my fence outside- i wish it was winter no bugs!

I know there so gross.. i see one bug and i freak out, and have to clean entire place.
Work is the worst.. we get these silver really hairy things that are long.. looks like a hair ball crawling. Worse was i was about to do a mammo on a patient and she goes "what is that crawling up the wall??" It was disgusting. The entire time we both kept staring at the ceiling making sure their wasnt one above us that would fall on us.

this is why i hate the warmer weather also-the bugs and spiders. i live in an apt in an old house-where sometimes the windows wont shut properly and this is my biggest fear. its very damp-damp rid is very good for the bugs-use this!
last year there was a problem w/centipedes in my neighborhood-i was lyin in bed watching tv, when i felt something crawling, i jump up n see a centipede on my PILLOW
dh thrw it in the garbage, i felt funny, so i got up and then it was crawling on the FLOOR
i hateeeeee bugs-they really bother me
