I can't even believe it. Well, I thought I was, but have stopped trusting my "symptoms", which is why I got a prescription for CD3 bloodwork if this month didn't work.
I woke up early this morning and laid there, contemplating whether to go POAS, after getting my agreed high temp (I made a deal with myself I'd test if my temp was at least 98.3 this a.m, which it was). I took a Dollar Tree test first since I thought it was too early (I'm 13DPO with a 16 day luteal phase so FF suggested I wait until Thursday to test). I keep my "sample" just in case I saw anything. I saw the faintest line so I ran to grab my box of the "good tests" and dipped my FRER in and voila!!
DH is at work this a.m. so I called him immediately (hated telling him by phone but I couldn't keep it in all day). He is so excited. He knows I wanted to start w/ fertility testing this month b/c I was get so frustrated (which, by the way, was what happened the first time we got pg - we were both scheduled for MD appts if that month didn't work - and it did!).
To the man on the subway who made me gag - it wasn't you - it was me!
Please send me sticky vibes!!
Congratulations!!!!!! I am so excited for you. Now you can stop temping! Word of adsvice. get them to check your hcg and progesterone and if the prog is below 15 get on vaginal supplements. I am so excited for you!!

Thank you! I went for b/w this a.m. b/c I thought they had a Rx for a beta on file and I wanted to have my thyroid level checked since it went wacky the last time I was pg.
They didn't have one on file (a script) so they just took extra blood and called Dr. H's office this morning. I just called now to ask that the add the prog. check and the nurse seemed like it might be too late to add it.
How often do I have to have my hcg level checked now? Do I have to go every few days until I see the heartbeat?

I would just go 2-3 times. If it is rising appropriately and no bleeding, you are good. I have a great endocrinologist who understands about fertility levels of thyroid if you want her info(she is actually a physicians assistant at LI Diabetes Center) It is VERY importaqnt to have that under control. I am SO happy for you!

Thank you!! Yes, I would def. like her info if you can FM me it. My endo s ucks. He told me I had hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism in the course of a month and when he had me on synthroid constantly asked ME what dosage he gave me  If my TSH level is off, I want to go to another MD. Thanks again for all your advice and support Melissa!
