I think Toms still alive. I feel like Liz helped him at the end.
And Reds burn marks on his back clearly makes him her father. Right??? What everyone's been thinking all along (although he's denied it)

Wasn't the picture in Berlin's locket of his daughter the same picture that Red was looking at at the end, right before he took his shirt off and you saw his burns?? Maybe Liz is Berlin's daughter?

Re: The Blacklist spoiler*******
Ok I think I have it... Red and Berlin had a fight that caused a fire.. He rescued the little girl thinking Berlin died in the fire.. But he is really not dead.. Berlin thinks red sent his daughters body parts back to him but in fact he took her to SAMs house and he raised her.. So the body parts were not actually beeline daughter

Yes! I was thinking along the same lines. The only piece that I felt didn't add up was; wasn't Berlin supposed to be in the prison camp when his daughter was growing up?

Berlin is the one who ordered the entire task force be killed. I don't think Lizzy is his daughter, why would he want her killed? I think the story they heard was true, his daughter was killed and sent to him in pieces.
I think Red lied to her and she is his daughter. Maybe he thinks lying to her will keep her safe. That one guy mentioned that once he found Lizzy, he knew he found Red's weakness.

Re: The Blacklist spoiler*******
Through the show I was thinking Berlin was Lizzy's father, but I think it's Red. In the last scene was of him undressing and he had significant burns on his back. Before that when he was talking to Lizzy, he kept saying that her father 'died' in the fire.

Re: The Blacklist spoiler*******
The reason Red doesn't know who Berlin is , is because he thinks that he died in the fire.. I bet Berlin has burn scars too somewhere... When does the new season start???
Do you think red and Berlin are related ?? Brothers???

I don't think Lizzy is Berlin's daughter. I think the picture in the pocket watch was the same woman whose picture Red took from one of the albums from that guy that dissolved people in chemicals (the Alchemist, maybe).
I agree that I think Red is Lizzy's father. I think in his mind, though, the man he was then ceased to exist after the fire and that's why he told Lizzy that he's not her father and that her father died in the fire.

This is exactly what I think.
I think Red is Lizzy's father after seeing the burns on his back and that the father he was died in that fire and he became a different man when he had to leave Lizzy with Sam.
Red was looking at the same picture and it said something like #79 which he took earlier this season.
Tom is definitely still alive. His body was gone in the end. He could have told Lizzy anything... he could have said that Red is her father.
I love this show!

I want this to be the answer ... I want Red to be her father so badly... I wish I could go back to the scene in the hospital where he is with Sam!!! I think he does say it.. I can't be positive.. I'm not convinced yet ... But I love this analogy the most!!

I thought Lizzy did a DNA test on Red at some point this season and it came up negative that he was related to her? Maybe Red killed her real father and felt that he had to protect her? Maybe she is Berlin's granddaughter (seems to young to be his daughter). Love this show - always keeps you guessing.

Re: The Blacklist spoiler*******
My theory is that Red is Lizzy's father. That man that Red says is dead is the old him. The one that changed him. He used to be on the governments side. Right? So something big happened to make him change sides. Maybe it was the torture of this girl and Berlin had someone go after his family. At that moment he had to be a different persona and Red was formed. He have his daughter to Sam to protect her and she is only safe if no one knew it was his daughter.

Re: The Blacklist spoiler*******
I think that Red is her father and this Berlin guy is her grandfather. If that's the case, then the grandfather thinks that Red was involved in killing his daughter years ago and doesn't know he has a grandchild.
Of course, an alternate theory would be that Red isn't her father! but is the man who saved her from the fire. Perhaps the father was Red's friend or brother or something?

The guy did say that Berlins daughter fell in love with someone who she shouldn't have. It may be Red.

I think the woman whose picture was in the locket was red's wife and a victim of the alchemist. That is why it had number 79 on it. I also think that she was Berlin's daughter. I think that Red is Lizzie's father and his statement that your father died meant that the man he used to be died that day. I think that Berlin does not realize that Lizzie is his granddaughter.

Do you think if they reveal Red as her father there wouldn't be a storyline left? I want Red to be her father but I don't know. James Spader is the best in this!

Wow, yes! This totally!
And I think she let Tom leave...although he did the dramatic last breath thing so maybe she thought he died. I was surprised at how sympathetic she was towards him after being so angry at him.
I'm just ready for a Lizzie/Ressler romance.
Do we think Harold will make it?

Wait.
It's actually the Stewmaker that he takes the picture from... not the Alchemist. The Stewmaker is the one who put the people in the chemicals.
Also, what about Red's wife and child that were killed on Christmas... wasn't that true? So maybe he's NOT the father but obviously he was there at the fire. Maybe he had an affair with Berlin's daughter and Lizzie is the child of that affair. Maybe it was the relationship between Red and Berlin's daughter that got her killed. Red didn't know who Berlin was at the time of the Stewmaker episode so he didn't take that photo because of Berlin... it was for his own reasons.
