Thanks everyone - and our plan of action.
Thanks so much for all of the hugs last night. I just had a total meltdown, between TTC and some other things going on. I was just sitting at the computer, listening to some music, and I found that all of the lyrics were hitting me so hard. I felt like I brought everythig back to TTC and to other life and work events/issues and I just started crying. I am feeling a bit better today though.
Well I'm pretty sure we are out this month since we only BD'd once during my fertile time and I POAS yesterday with FRER (11 dpo) and got a BFN. So onto the next steps and plan of action.
DH is going for an SA on Friday. He goes back on Tuesday to (I think) discuss the results. We're hoping that our PCP can give us a referral to an RE.
I'm thinking that we will take next month off because it has all become way too stressful. But I might start temping during that time so that I can get used to it and make sure I am Oing. DH bought me a year's membership to fertilityfriend last month, so I think that will help.
What else should I be doing?
We started with the "whatever happens happens" method in September. Started using OPKs in October. Started with CBEFM in January. I'm still not pregnant. I feel like this is never going to happen for us

My only advice is to go to a RE if you are fed up with trying naturally. Best of luck.

Thanks. We are trying! But for our insurance, we need to have a referral and our ob/gyn said we need to try for 1 year first since I'm under 30.

Re: Thanks everyone - and our plan of action.
First of all,
I am so new at this that I can't offer you much good advice, but I would definitely recommend temping - I've only done it for a month but I've learned a lot about my cycle.
You have been so nice to me in the short time I've been here - I hope you get your wish very soon!!!

I was in the same boat. My ins was giving me a hard time about seeing an RE. We needed referral to see a one, both of us even thought the visit was for me they needed a referral from my DHs PCP because he is considered a patient too. It was so crazy and confusing. We had to fight like mad to get things rolling but we did it.
Good Luck with everything.

Re: Thanks everyone - and our plan of action.
Hang in there. I know it is so frustrating. We've been trying about the same amount of time that you have - and I am older. I know that it's easier said than done - because once you know something about your cycle and your body, you can't unknow it. Try to relax and take the pressure off of yourself.

Re: Thanks everyone - and our plan of action.
I think you are doing it. And SA would be the first step, and an RE would be the net. It sounds like you and DH have tried everything. There may be someting going on that you can't possibly know about, but an RE may be able to help with.
Good Luck, you are always in my thoughts and prayers!

Re: Thanks everyone - and our plan of action.
i think you are taking all the right steps. and kudos to your DH for being so supportive - i know how important that is to you.
i agree that maybe taking a month off would be helpful both mentally and physically... i know it will be hard but just think of all the things you can do while you're not stressing about the 2WW

I would call your insurance company. Don't take your Dr's word for it.

I have said this before, but Lie, Lie, Lie. Tell them you have been at this for over a year. I hate when they tell people this. I completely lied to get them to see me. I am so glad I did. Try to get a referal from your own PCD. My gyno refuse to give me one b/c he wanted me to stay with him to get pregnant. I called my doctor ASAP and got a referral from him. Good Luck.

Re: Thanks everyone - and our plan of action.
It sounds like you've got a great plan of action in the works. Especially the time off from TTCing. Sometimes you just need that month to refocus on each other.

Re: Thanks everyone - and our plan of action.
I feel so bad with all that you're going through. Your story sounds exactly like mine. So you're not alone. My DH and I are on that "whatever happens happens" method and I dont know how much lnger I can take it. I think about my MC all the time - it was almost a year ago - and I breakdown every once in a while - I just feel that this is so unfair - I hate that we have to go through this. I know things start looking up for you and me as well. Good Luck

Re: Thanks everyone - and our plan of action.
Hang in there The SA is the first step that will provide you some answers. I would stress to your OB that you WANT the referral to a RE bc you just feel something is not right. I know they tell you to wait the year, but sometimes it is just something you have a gut..about
