Temperature at night in your house
What do you set your thermostat at?
Also, what is your child wearing at night.
TIA

66-68 at night. DD is in footed PJ's and a hand knitted blanket.
She has been sleeping with the hand knit blanket (I made it myself!) since she was about 6 months old.

Temp at 65. DD sleeps in a fleece pj and fleece sleep sack. When it's really chilly, I put a onsie underneath...sometimes short sleeve, sometimes long. She's a warm body.

60. Katherine wears pajamas with socks and a onesie if it is cold and Abigail wears footed pjs with a onesie. Both girls are in sleepsacks (Abigail's is a heavy fleece) and Katherine has a knit blanket as well.
I am surprised that some have their heat on at 70 at night--I would totally be sweating my a$$ off; that's our daytime temp!

Me too.
Studies show that kids and adults sleep better with the room around 60-65 degrees.

Re: Temperature at night in your house
at least 70 - I am always freezing - and I hate having to get out of bed in the morning into an icy temp
DC has long sleeved pajamas with a fleece or flannel sleeper on top of it - we can't use a blanket because he moves around too much

Re: Temperature at night in your house
We used to keep it at 67-70 when it was just the 2 of us, but with DS we keep it at 70-72 otherwise his little hands and body are freezing when I get him in the morning. My DS wears fleece feetie pajamas with a onesie underneath. He has blankets in his crib, but sleeps on top of them. I'm thinking of getting a sleep sack. Last winter we had a small heater in my DS's room so we could keep his room a little warmer and keep the heat down in the rest of the house. I might use that again too once it gets really cold out. His room is over the garage so it's the coolest room upstairs.

72 overnight. And for some reason, its not as warm as you would think. They sleep in fleece PJ's and have blankets.

We'd have icicles on our nose if we had our thermo at 60. 70 is fine for us adults, but with the kids, 72 it is. I guess it depends on how well insulated your house is and where your thermostat is located that is recording the temps.

My DH has our thermostat at the same temp.
I also put on footed PJs if they are fleece or cotton and a sleep sack..
