We finally had the house talk last night!
we decided on a condo in westchester!
hopefully on the water - if we can find something in our price range
we are looking to buy something by the summer- our lease is up 10/1/07- and we can't wait to go!
2 bedroom/2 bathroom with a garage would be perfect- that way Jake can put his fighting stuff in the garage and get a punching bag to add to the collection
we just aren't ready for the responisblity of a house yet- but no more buildings or co-ops!
Now I have something positive to focus on!!!!!

Good luck!
In my search I found that there were mroe co-ops than condos in Westchester, but that may have just been my price range.
Looking early can't hurt (at least on-line) so you can get an idea of what areas may have what you are looking for.

thanks- I have no idea where- so I am pretty flexible about the location
we wont buy a co-op - our second choice would be a house if we couldn't find a condo
I am going to look alittle this week just to get an idea if if our price range is inline with what we want- if we went any higher I would just buy a house instead- unless it had something that made it worth it to spend more $$$$$$
then I need to just go drive around the area- I drive thru it everyday- but I never get off the highway

Yeah, I figured that. 
Its just kinda weird here, some areas don't have condos at all, others do, & there is a big price jump between the two. Driving around & looking at listing is a good start.
Let me know if you have any questions about the area.
