Does anyone ever experience a basal temp dip before O? If so....how many days before?

That would be great to look at ...I am only CD 14 here....but this morning was a way lower temp than usual....just wanting that OPK to be +!

Are you on FF?
Click on sharing, then home page setup. There you should see a link and you can copy/paste that into Insert Web Link on your post.
Or what I do is click on Preview and then right-click the image and copy the properties (or if you're on Mozilla as your internet, you can right click and select copy image location) and then paste that into Insert Web Image on your post.

Also, remember... you want to use OPKs between 2 and 8 pm. NOT with first morning urine.
LH is synthesized in your body during the day, so it won't show up in your urine until the afternoon.
If you're only testing in the morning, you will still get a +, but you will likely not be able to catch your surge earlier.

TOday was the first day in the AM for me...I did it at 1030-11ish....okay, so only PM....is it imperative to not pee for 4 hours before???

I also wanted to say that temping is not a good way to predict ovulation - rather, it's a good way to confirm it once it has already happened.

yes this is true
except if you are charting for a while and have a pattern (i.e. i would get the dip so i knew i would "O" in the next day or 2)
