Talk to me about your induction...
40 hours two rounds of cytotec , pitocin, broke just water never dialated past 3 and ended up needing a c section.
Not the way I wanted things to go... Lol

Talk to me about your induction...
I was induced a week early because of blood pressure issues.
I got to the hospital by 9, started pitocin by 10:30. Water broke on it's own, but then nothing. Never went past 4cm, and the pain (even with the epi) was unbearable. They did a C section and found out that he was kind of stuck. He was fine, but my BP went ridiculously high and I almost had a stroke (literally not just exaggerating). I didn't get to hold my son until 3 hours after he was born because they kept doing blood work and monitoring me and my blood pressure.

I was scheduled to be induced with my 1st, I went 1 week late, night before induction i went in to labor on my own, they broke my water, I needed the epi a couple hours later, then needed pitocin...pushed for about 50 minutes gave birth vaginally...for my second same thing 1 week late got to induction at 3cm got pitocin, got the epi maybe 1 hour later at which point they stopped the pitocin, got to 10cm and pushed her out in about 10 minutes.

I hope it goes like this for me lol
My first no Pitocin went 2 days late and labor was like 7 hours total...

10pm: Cervidil, 1 cm, ~60% effaced
3am: 2 cm, 100% effaced
6:15am: started to push
6:37am: DD born
eta: No pitocin, no epidural

was induced at 39w due to medical issues and being on steroids. Was 3cm when they started the pitocin at about 8am. Got the epidural after they broke my water around noon. Started pushing at 5:30 and she was born at 6:15.

10 days late, induction lasted 19 hours, cytotec started contractions, my water broke at 4 cm followed by lots of pain, needed Pitocin, had epidural which helped me rest a bit, progressed fast towards the end & pain returned, pushed about 35 minutes, out came the baby. The whole thing was very smooth (unpleasant of course but I'm sure labor would have been a horror even without an induction) so I don't regret anything about it.

Thank you all for sharing. Tomorrow is the big day. Been having a lot of contraction pains so my hope is I am progressing and this will be a quick process, a girl can dream right
