Talk to me about teething :(
My LO is 6 months. No teeth yet but he chomps down on everything. makes that sound of hurting. I feel there are grooves and I see white but no teeth still! :(
My question is when the first tooth comes in does teething get easier or worse? I feel like I would have a happy go lucky kid always if it were not for these dam teeth.. But dont teeth come in up until like 2? So does that mean it will be this way for that long?

My DS got his two bottom teeth about a month ago at 4.5 months old. We had teething crankiness for about 1-2 weeks and then the teeth broke through. After that much easier. Tylenol and baby orajel helped at night.

Mine were early teethers and were fully done teething by 18 months. DS is 8 months and has 8 teeth. My first 3 were great teethers and you never knew they were cutting new ones. Declan was a miserable teether before his first 2 cut through. Once those cut they don't seem to bug him anymore.

My DS teethed early beginning i think at 6 months. he would get 3 or 4 at a time. He had no problems and was done by 16 months or so. DD also teethed early. she gets 3 or 4 at a time as well. But she does not take it very well at all. she becomes cranky, crying, fussing, diaper rashes, etc. she is 10 months old and has 8 teeth and others are about to pop through. It is pure hell with her.

DD is 18 months and has all teeth except 2 yr. molars. She teethed on and off since 4 months when her first 2 came through. You can tell when she was teething. She was cranky, irritable, just not herself. Waking at night and such. But this was not straight through. It would be a few weeks of normal, a week or 2 of being cranky. Right now we are doing ok and have been for a while. I'm just waiting for the molars.
Tylenol, motrin were our best friends while teething, especially at night.

My DD teethed around by 6 months. She started with two bottom teeth. It was horrible experience. She was too cranky, fussing & crying for no reason. She is 2 yr old now. But not yet fully teethed. She has 8-10 teeth now.
