my word of advice--just stick it out until it's done.

DD had hers and they had such trouble finding a vein(i have the same problem). they tried 3 times and said for me to try again in a month. i told them NO just get it over with and try her foot. although she was crying, i knew we would have the same problem in a month. once it was over, she forgot about it and was fine, even though she had little black and blues.

We have not done it yet either & DS is 16 months. I told DH we need to do it before his appt in March bc I want to make sure it is done. I am dreading it bc DS does not sit still for anything & refuses to take medication via mouth. How the heck will he let someone stick him with a needle?
