I've tried several over the years and finally found think baby which I love. Ewg.org gives ratings so I would check there before buying any. Think baby goes on easily and has a great rating. Also doesn't bother dds sensitive skin line many others.

Coppertone Water Babies Pure and Simple.

It has to say Pure and Simple though, the original has a dangerous ingrediant that's on the "bad" list.

It rates pretty well on the EWG ratings, is easy to get everywhere like CVS or Target and is pretty cheap.

I also like that it's Zinc based, and goes on white so you can see where you are applying, but rubs in clear.

The worst one I ever tried was that jessica alba garbage- Honest Company. It was so oily and greasy and nasty. And then all that stuff came out about kids getting severe sunburns wearing it.
Nasty

Yep the original water babies is on this list.
That's why I mentioned it has to be the Pure and Simple
The original one is awful
You can also tell the difference because the original one is SPF 70 and the Pure and Simple is SPF 50

I agree 100%.
Kids don't get burnt wearing it (vs other sunscreens).
I use it on myself too!

California Baby. It's expensive, but found that it works the best.

Banana boat baby doesn't have the bad ingredients either and it works great! It has to be the baby one though.

I agree. I was getting sunburned wearing this. They changed the formula this year though, and I like all of the other Honest Co. products, so I figured I'd give the new one a shot.

Blue Lizard. I get it on Amazon. It's expensive but my daughter has very sensitive skin and no issues. It lasts a while too. It's thick and has good coverage.

My mom bought the new Honest Co. one at Costco (she bought it because she knows I use Honest diapers and wipes and some household cleaners as well). She used it on DD this week when it's been 80 degrees and she was playing with the water table and in the kiddie pool. No sunburn at all (and my daughter is very fair) and she said it wasn't greasy.

I agree. I used the Honest on my DD, and her skin burned terribly.
