Storing paint cans
Where is a safe place to store opened and left over paint cans...for example we didn't use the whole can of BM paint, and want to keep it just in case we need some more.
Thanks!

Re: Storing paint cans
All of ours are on a shelf under the work bench in our garage.

Re: Storing paint cans
Paint is pretty safe to store. Try and keep it from freezing if it's water based, and keep it off the floor (to keep the can from rusting). I have my paint on shelves in my basement.

Re: Storing paint cans
We always stored them in the garage but then we discovered that they froze and then you cant use them again.

Re: Storing paint cans
We have the left over of every color we used on shelves in the basement. As previous poster said, if they freeze they can't be used again so we avoided the garage.
