Disposing of paint cans?
Between the paint that DH and I purchased for our house, and the dozen or so cans that the sellers left behind we now have an absurd number of paint cans in our garage.
My town will not take paint cans. Is there any other way to get rid of them, or will the person who buys the house from us be inheriting 20+ cans of paint?

Contact Home Depot/Lowes - they both have facilties that could dispose of paint and other recepticles. Just ask a manager.

they have recycling once a month at a park in nassau county to bring them to. i think it is called stop. or you might be able to bring them to a nearby dump. i know there is a dump in south shore nassau that people go to.
