Stomach after pregnancy
How long did it take for the skin to tighten up after you had your DC?
I remember it took a while after DS was born and I wasn't sure if that was because I had a c-section with him.
I've lost 17 of the 20 lbs I gained with DD but I still have a pooch... obviously, I am not thinking it should be gone 10 days PP, but I was just curious what other women experienced.

Well it is 8 months now and there is no way in hell my skin is ever going to tighten up again after having the triplets...... Tummy tuck here we come

Id say just recently im noticing that my stomach doesnt look like im 5 1/2 mons pregnant anymore. Im 4 mons PP btw

I'm 7.5 months PP and it's definitely not as toned as it was (i'm working on it!) but I don't have a pooch anymore... it flattened around 5 months PP.

Btdt moms have sworn to me that if I wrap up my belly it will go back in no time.
I was wearing spanx first few days, they said its not enough, I got post preg belt, from medical supply store, and seeing noticable changes in a matter of days

I was 23 pounds lighter than I was when I got pregnant 8 days after having her....but dont go by me.. cause I was having insane BP issues.
I remember my stomach looking more normal around 3 weeks pp.

Hasn't happened with me and it wont. I also think that the older you are, the less elasticity you have. Younger women tend to fare better. I just asked DH to put some $$$ aside for this soon-to-be-40-year-old's tummy tuck.

I lost the baby weight by 2 weeks, but it took about a month to feel comfortable in jeans without hanging out.

I am 7 weeks PP.
I wore a really tight belly hugger called the "Squeem" from amazon & wore it almost everyday & night.. took a day off here & there b/c it was so tight & I lost the bloaty/pooch within 3 weeks. Friends are amazed at how my belly looks. Now I just have to work out to get toned.

Ive worn my belly binder since the day they put it on me and its definitely getting better with time. i take it off for showers and to clean it. thats it.

I don't think mine ever went back to the way it was. With DS I would say after about 5 months I was almost back to the way it was after I worked out and lost all the weight I gained. DD however destroyed my body. Tummy tuck solved that problem!

IMO it will never be completely the same again but it could take a year or so. I JUST read an article about how it has a lot to do with hormones that make us prone to bely fat.

8 months PP and my belly is still not the same. I have alot of loose skin that jiggles, it just won't tightten back up again. It just hangs there, i hate it and i am very self conscious about it.
ETA: I had a c-section

Took about 3 months to get it flat again, but I didn't really start working on it till 6 months PP where I was at the gym, running on the tread and doing push-ups. Although Aruba was my goal. Now that we're back from vacation I've been slacking
gotta get motivated again

While I lost 41 of the 50lbs I gained, my belly is SOFT! Just recently I have noticed that it is firming up a tiny tiny bit but its going to take a lot of work this time around. I think having 2 kids in under 2 years and gaining so much weight (in my case) just destroyed me. I am 8 weeks pp tomorrow and Monday I am going to start doing some serious ab work! Im so afraid to hurt myself but I can't deal with this anymore.

Stomach after pregnancy - YES
I don't feel "stretched" out from being pregnant, I just need to lose weight everywhere(I was the heaviest in my life before I got pregnant).
