Still no M/S
Ok so I posted once before that I have no m/s and was a little concerned...still a little over 8 weeks pregnant and nothing! Is this normal?!?!?! I keep getting scared that maybe I should have something NADA! I have read about so many girls getting so sick and not being able to keep anything down, my heart goes out to you, it must be so difficult but part of me is like should I be doing this?! I know it sounds crazy but I just feel like is it a sign something is not right??? Or am I being my usual over paranoid self!!!

Re: Still no M/S
it can hit at ANY time...so first off there's that.
second - as pp said - every person is different...you may not have it - but you may suffer from horrible insomnia (like i did).
i personally didn't have m/s, but as mentioned, had TERRIBLE insomnia (which many girls don't)...
also - it may help to speak to your mom...your propensity for m/s has something to do with whether or not she had it. (mine didn't and i tell you seriously, i felt SO much better when she told me that)...

You know it's funny you said that because I don't sleep. I wake up around 2:00 a.m. and from there it is maybe intervals of an hour here and there. When I spoke to my mother she would tell me how sick she use to get so she had m/s. My sister said it was occasional for her but more nausea than m/s. I guess it's just different for everyone. We go tomorrow for our 8 week to hear the HB so hopefully all is going well in there!

Re: Still no M/S
I thought I was in the clear until 10 weeks, and then it hit. I was not sleeping for the first 10 weeks. Once that got better the M/S happened. You never know when you could get it. I wouldn't worry- you might be one of the lucky ones.

Re: Still no M/S
I had no m/s with my first pregnancy & the result of that pregnancy is now happily playing with her dollhouse. Not everyone gets m/s. It's nothing to worry about

Re: Still no M/S
I had no M/S at all not even nausea. The only time i got sick this pregnancy was in the car one nite when i swear my husband was just driving like a mad man. So no worries. I had no symptoms first trimester no sore boobs, no morning sickness only thing i had was the bad gas pains, and bloating. Hope that helps. We should count ourselves as one of the lucky ones.

Re: Still no M/S
I worry about that too but the ladies on here have been great I am 10 weeks and I get nausea here and there, a few gagging / dry heaving episodes, but not severe like some others have had. And also, it can still come in the weeks ahead

Re: Still no M/S
I didn't really have any symptoms until after 9 weeks or so. Even then, I never had M/S and I slept well until the end, when I would have to get up to pee.
I did have heartburn throughout the whole pregnancy though. Everyone is different, try not to worry.

Re: Still no M/S
I haven't had any morning sickness my entire pregnancy. You should be relieved that so far you've dodged it. But, you're still only 8 weeks in, your m/s could be just around the corner. Everyones pregnancy is different so you should do your best not to compare yourself to others. (I know that can be hard to do)
