Starting the Nursery?

How many weeks were you when your nursery furniture arrived? How many weeks were you when the nursery was finished?

We finished painting the walls in the nursery now we just need to do the molding with a fresh coat of paint. The furniture & bedding has been ordered and it should be here soon since nothing was on backorder. We still need to replace a ceiling fan, order blinds and figure out a closet system. The glider is at the store ready to be picked up. Of course all the decor will be last and I have a lot of ideas :)

I'm 24 weeks. I feel like it's so early. I can't believe I'm going to have furniture in 2 weeks. Am I crazy? I'm due around 2/20 and with the Holidays coming up we didn't want to be overwhelmed, besides we have other things going on in the house. I figured a little at a time, but to have furniture before 30 weeks

In a book I read, it said you should order all your furniture around week 20 and have everything completed by your 8th month. I'm gonna go by that plan!

I dont think you're too early! There's lots to do and will take you a while. At least you wont have to rush!

Not crazy at all. We did most of the nursery work between 21 and 26 weeks and were done with the big stuff by the start of the third trimester and I'm so glad we did b/c started at 28 weeks i started to get tired and more achey and now, at 35 weeks, i can barely move. Do it while you can!!!
