Our sellers are moving back to India (actually, the family is back there already; just the dad / husband is still here to finish up with the house and his business).

When we bought our co-op, the woman had already moved to VA though we did randomly run into her 1x in the complex - visiting friends I guess.

For our buyer, it's unlikely we'll see her as we don't really have ties to the area or complex that would bring us back and we're moving about 25min south and east.

Our previous owners moved a few streets away. They constantly do drive-bys checking on the house and have called to the house a few times. Their son comes around at Halloween with his friends too.

We have run into them at the local bar and they always comment on how the renovations and construction we have done is exactly what they had planned. I never mention the fact that we basically had to fumigate the house before we moved in, but I'm very tempted

ETA: I moved a few streets away from the co-op I owned and have only seen the buyer once at S&S and couldn't figure out why he looked familiar. I think he has moved on because my place was for sale again a year or so after he bought it.
