spin off to house hunting

Did you bring a camera and take pictures to remember the houses? Are you allowed to do this?

Re: spin off to house hunting

we did the first time around - we looked at short sales and forclosures though - so nobody was in the houses....we took pictures and video of the short sale we put an offer on....

this time we saw houses that were regular sales - we put an offer on a house yesterday, that house we took video of - the people weren't home so we just did it Chat Icon we went back to see it a second time to get more pics BUT the owner was home so i didn't feel comfortable doing it Chat Icon

my mom and sis are checking out another option for us later today in case this house doesn't work out - its occupied by tenants - they are taking pictures and video for us....i know my mom will be embarrassed doing that since the tenants will be there Chat Icon but im sure she'll just say its for her daughter in NY...

Re: spin off to house hunting

i haven't been but if we accept a offer and bring a engineer in then I will.

If the house is empty i would but if the family is home I find it a bit awkward for (myself) to take pictures of their home unless i know i am pretty going to contract with it.

yeah if the people are there i can't imagine doing it....i feel bad that my mom has to do it for us today Chat Icon but its only the tenants so she shouldn't feel that silly...my sister will be with her though and she has no shame! Chat Icon
