Sorta taken from IF board...
what things do you HATE that people say who know youre TTC or about getting PG etc?
I hate:
-dont stress over it. It supposed to be something enjoyable
-it'll happen when its supposed to happen
I especially HATE that one bc i am NOT a religious person and i do NOT believe in fate or destiny. So i do not believe in the whole "when its "supposed to happen" crap

No one knows we are TTC, but there are a lot of babies and babies on the way in our family.
I hate all of the "You're next!" comments. Ummmm...we are on our 7th cycle of TTC and are beginning fertility testing, so how do you know we are next!

I think what it comes down to is that people are going to say what they want to say (whether we like it or not) but as long as we truly know how we feel about different circumstances that may arise or how we may go about handling them, that's all that matters!

"Be thankful for the one you already have." I never said I wasn't. Having another child doesn't mean I don't appreciate and cherish my DS.
"Relax it will happen." I can take a trip to Hawaii for a week and come back and still have IF issues. Relaxing isn't going to help me with that.
And my all time favorite...
"Why are you spending all that money trying to have a baby?? The economy is so bad you should save your money."

anything relating to it will happen when its meant to happen, well if thats the case then explain to me why i just found out a 17yr old i know of is pregnant, and also someone i knows 15 yr old cousin, you're telling me it was supposed to happen and god wants these teenage girls to have babies

when you go to a family wedding or shower and everyone says "so when you & DH goin to have a baby"? Excuse me? Just because I've been married for a little while doesn't mean it happens right away.
And my favorite "well you have been married longer then this one or that one, so you are next".....*** is that?

I've learned to keep my mouth shut on this topic. Once I started TTC with #1, I told my gf I was sorry if I ever told her to relax because I know how frustrating it is.
I have another gf with If issues and my MIL keeps telling me that "if she just relaxed..." I tell her thats not the case, it has nothing to do with being relaxed or not.
I don't think people get it.

This sounds just like my MIL. It's sooo frustrating to hear. And I hate that she even talks to me about it, in front of other people. I find that to be so rude.
