Ugh, this show has been disappointing for so long now.
DH and I keep hoping something will change and the show will pick up but the end is in sight without any promising signs of action.
Lame-o way of killing Christopher. It's not like Tony woke up one day and was like "ok I've had enough of this kids sh!t he's done" and shot him. Who knows the extent of Christopher's injuries in the first place after that accident. Looked to me like he would have suffocated on his blood regardless, so Tony just helped the process along.
then they wasted the rest of the show with Tony getting high and screwing Christopher's old "mistress".
And really, there are no huge story lines building. So what can they put together in the last 3 episodes that will make us gasp in shock?!

I do think that AJ will either take over, or rat out his dad. They are definitely juxtopisitioning AJ and Tony. Something is happening with these too.
I couldn't watch the part when they beat up the Somalian student.
I didn't like Tony killing Christopher. I think the writers are also setting us up to not like Tony. Something is going down...
Tony is not book smart, but he is sharp as a tack! or at least, he used to be. he is losing it this season - IMO, they're prepping us for his demise.

I don't get the purpose of that whole Vegas scene.  that girl was never on the show before. it's going off on so many different tangents, most of which are completely irrelevant. or maybe they're just trying to prep us for Tony's imminent demise. he has lost a grip on everything! he has even less patience now than he used to and he's not even able to manage his businesses. he used to be so on top of things. now he's lost 2 money makers (Christopher and Vito). he's got a lot of problems with Phil and the NY family. he's going down! And you know what, I can’t WAIT to see Tony killed. No one on that show deserves it more!

Chrissy dying the way he did was almost anti-climatic.
I loved how Tony tried to get Carm to buy into his feelings that Chris dying wasn't so awful and somewhat expected, then rationalizing what he did by telling everyone about the baby's carseat (although I do think the car seat helped push Tony into killing Chrissy, or maybe it gave him a few seconds pause?). Tony is one cold mofo.
Two eps in a row with "Comfortably Numb". Is this supposed to tell us something about Tony? He was definitely comfortably numb out in Vegas.
I think any sanity or love that T had left in him is now gone. He's a sick man, little sense of right or wrong, little conscience left. The last scene with him high and staring at the sun saying "I get it", smiling and delirious - that was chilling. (Side question: wasn't Tony in Vegas during his Finnerty dreams? I think that's the only other time we've seen him there.)
Did anyone hear Tony say "prostate with grief"? LOL!

I thought it was "I did it" but my friend had closed-captioning on and she said it read "I get it".

I thought it was a great episode. I knew something was going to happen with Chrissy. I didnt think they were going to get into an accident though.
I knew chrissy was on something when tony and him were meeting Phil in the city and Chrissy just looked very impatient and when he checked his watch, I thought something was going to go down right there.
When they flipped over off the road....And chrissy was sitting there with shallow breathing and blood coming out of his mouth I thought he would just die from his injuries, and then He said Tony switch places with me.....and Tony looked at the baby seat, I knew that was the end for chrissy. Tony just thought that it could happen if Chrissy was on something while driving around with his daughter in the car.
Was that Christophers truck that they were driving? I dont remember it.
Paulie walnuts is probably going to do something since no one showed up at his ma's wake.
Aj is a moron and I cannot believe he was involved with beating up that poor kid.
He is going to end up getting Killed. I dont think he will get involved with the mob, he wont last through the next few episodes.
Carmella was excellent last night after she found out about Christopher. Great reaction.
Should be interesting to see how the next few episodes turn out....Wonder how they are going to take care of Tony.

I thought this was one of the BEST episodes in a long time. I cannot understand why so many people thought it was a snooze fest. It was freaking AMAZING!!!!!

Anyway, isnt that girl a high-priced prostitute? I thought there was an episode last season w/ her and Christopher in Vegas getting all f'd up in a hotel room. Unless it was someone else but Im pretty sure it was her.

I agree!! I told DH, he is so gross! Fat, old and completely lacking in charisma. How does he keep getting these young, pretty girls without paying for them.

DH & I thought this was a great episode but you can see where they are trying to tie so many things in now.
You knew something was going to happen to Christopher especially when you saw him driving & put the soundtrack "Departed" in the player! I figured he would just die from his injuries too though! Honestly, I think that Tony did the right thing, Christopher could have been a danger to his own daughter!
AJ is just going down the wrong track. But if you listened to him in the session at the end of the show, he is realizing that it is not right to just beat people up! He kept saying "why can't we all just get along" I think something is going to happen to him within the next 2 episodes!
Paulie Walnuts is definately going to go off the deep end bc of his Ma's funeral & no one there.
I just don't get why the heck Tony had to go to Vegas & then start in with the drugs. Doesn't he realize that is what happened to Christopher! Plus the every episode with him & another girl, I can't take that!

When Tony was playing roulette and started winning big, he said "He's Dead" and started laughing, that's when he fell on the floor.
Christopher was Tony's bad luck. He's dead, and now Tony started winning again. That's what Tony "gets". Chrissy was his bad kharma (or so he thinks).
Maybe this will be Tony's turning point and he'll get out of his slump and return with a vengeance in the last couple of episodes.

David Chase said not to expect everything wrapped up. And really, the heart of the series is Tony's reflections on his life and his past. I think that storyline is coming to a close.

speaking of Carmella...did you guys notice that the scene where Tony called her to tell her about Christopher that she was looking online at Florida Real Estate. Do you think that means she's leaving Tony? Or that shes preparing to expand her real estate experience? they had to focus on her computer screen for a reason. i think she's been preparing to leave Tony for a while now.

ITA- I said they same thing- and Tony got really mad when Chrisy admitted he wouldn't pass a blood test, then he saw the baby seat and decided enough is enough

Could be.... and personally, I would LOVE to see it happen. But I don't think so. She really loves him. And she definitely should get an Emmy for last night's performance.
What I do think is that she is going to be a real estate mogul and if he dies/goes to jail- she will succeed on her own. I think they will find out Tony has no money- he gambled it all away- but she will have her own real estate business and she will be fine.

#1: I can't stand watching him with all these girls.
#2: I can't stand the AJ story line
#3: I couldn't believe he killed Christopher but...could understand why he did esp. since he was high at the time, the cops would get involved, could possibly get him more in trouble.
#4: I think Carm is going to walk away from Tony with her money...I hope.
#5: I think there will be tons of loose strings at the end...wanting us wanting more!
