Songs for the hospital/delivery...
I know I'm doing this waaaay early, but I've been thinking about it because my hospital preadmissions information came in the mail.
They make this big deal about having ipod speakers for your use in the delivery and recovery rooms, so now I'm thinking about playlists I can make.
(Plus, I'm procrastinating on a MAJOR project at work!!  )
I'm looking for soothing, semi-baby related songs. So far I have:
Godspeed - Dixie Chicks
Lullaby - Dixie Chicks
And yeah...that's as far as I got.
Any other ideas???

We brought it and I never even took it out. It never really dawned on me that I had it and I really didnt want to listen to music while I was in labor

I'm not sure I'll use it in labor either, but in the room after I can definitely see myself listening to music.

My sister brought a CD and she did use it. She found it relaxing before and cried to it after 
I would bring it regardless and then if you use it , you use it.

I'd rather have it and not use it instead of wanting it and not having it.
My MP3 goes with me everywhere and I'm very motivated by music, so I'm pretty sure it will come in handy for me.

for relaxing and baby related I have the Celine Dion Miracel of Life CD every one of those songs fits your criteria.
If you like Celine and are interested I will pull it out and list all the tracks for you. Or I can lend it to you if you PROMISE (cross your heart and...) to give it back
