Hospital Delivery Question
My OB delivers at WInthrop & Mercy. I was told in the beginning I was allowed to deliver at WInthrop definetly. Then I received a paper from my insurance company that I am approved to deliver at MErcy. I confronted my OB about this and was told...I have to call when I go into labor and find out what hospital the doctor is in..it is luck of the draw. I am very upset about this because I absolutely do not want to deliver at Mercy. I don't know what to do. I am
22 wks preggo should I try and find a doctor that only goes to Winthrop. Does anyone have a doctor that only delivers at Wintrop that they can recommend? Thanks

i use University Plaza OB/GYN on Stewart Avenue in Garaden City. They use Winthrop and i love them there. there is a bunch of different drs that u can use. my personal favorites are DR. Scavo for a woman and Dr. Caffaro for male but they are all great!

Dr. Jennifer Hanauer on Old Country Road. A bunch of grils on here use her and LOVE her too!

I was told the same thing but Winthrop and NSUH@Plainview. When I went into labor they told me to go to Winthrop but I said too bad I am going to NSUH@Plainview. I was in labor there was no arguing with me My OB at the time even got on the phone with my DH and tried to talk him into it. It was pretty funny two men trying to tell a woman in labor what to do, yeah right I don't think so
So you could try that.

SWITCH....this is too chancey if you ask me. If you do NOT want to deliver at Mercy then you need to switch because you have a 50-50 chance of that happening.
